Nanny / Childcare Provider

We are a family in [Calgary,Alberta] seeking a compassionate, energetic, and experienced Nanny. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment, supporting the children's development through age-appropriate activities and helping with their daily routines. We are looking for someone who can become an integral part of our household, providing reliable and consistent care.

Responsibilities

Child Care and Supervision:
Provide constant and attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
Plan and lead creative and educational activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and indoor/outdoor play.
Manage daily routines, including nap times, bedtimes, and personal hygiene practices.
Meal Preparation:
Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any dietary restrictions.
Serve meals and snacks, and assist with clean-up.
Household Support:
Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as tidying play areas, organizing bedrooms, and doing children's laundry.
Keep toys and common areas used by the children clean and organized.
Transportation:
Transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, playdates, and appointments.
Communication:
Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on the children's day, progress, and any concerns that arise.
Emergency Response:
Handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, and administer basic first aid if necessary.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a Nanny or Childcare Provider, with verifiable references.
Specific experience with children in the [Ages of Children] age range is a strong asset.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, patient, and creative approach to child care.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Requirements:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A clean criminal record check is mandatory.
